IDG Ventures India Advisors, a technology-focused venture capital firm, on Wednesday said Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Sons Ltd, has joined the company’s advisory board as a senior advisor. IDG Ventures India, a part of IDG Ventures, a global network of technology venture funds with over $6 billion under management, has invested in Indian companies such as Flipkart, Myntra, Yatra, Newgen, FirstCry, Vserv, Manthan, Lenskart, Adadyn, Zivame, Hiree and NestAway.
