The Union HRD ministry has started its hunt for a Head of CBSE and has constituted a five member search committee for this purpose. Appointments to the post of Head of CBSE and NCERT are being watched closely by the academic world as the government is rumoured to be under pressure from the RSS to ‘Indianise’ the education curriculum.
