GoodWorker hires Diwesh Sahai as CTO

Phygital platform for the blue-collar employees, GoodWorker has appointed Diwesh Sahai as the company’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Sahai comes with an experience spanning over two decades as a senior leader in software development for consumer, enterprise, and service provider markets in both startups as well as large organizations. Prior to joining GoodWorker, Sahai worked with MyGate, Jio, Expedia Inc., MakeMyTrip.com and Amazon.

With a B. Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kanpur, he has specialized in E-Commerce, Digital (e-Books, Video), FinTech (Payments Bank), Application Development (TV, Streaming Device, and Mobile), Payments and Network Management.

Avigna Group appoints Iliyas Penbelli as Chief Operating Officer

Avigna Group has roped in Iliyas Penbelli as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO). With over 15 years of experience in Capital Markets across various verticals, Iliyas comes with immense exposure in segments like Fund Structuring, Execution, Implementation and setting up across various jurisdictions right from India, Singapore to Luxembourg and Mauritius, to name some of the geographies. Iliyas has undertaken many projects with meticulous business planning in line with a global perspective towards development in his performance-driven career.

Prior to joining Avigna, Iliyas was heading the role of Director of Sales in Amicorp Group overlooking the Corporate Secretarial & Fund Administrative services, Estate & Succession Planning and Alternate Investment Funds (AIFs) structuring and Operations across 40+ offices.

Ola strengthens its leadership team, hires top talent across businesses

PV Harinarayan joins as the VP Lending, Ola Financial Services. Hari brings close to two decades of experience in the banking and fintech domain, having previously been the CEO of Simple Pay, where he was responsible for building a High tech purpose-led digital lending NBFC. He has previously worked with organisations such as Bajaj Finserv, Barclays and ICICI Bank.

V Ramesh joins as the VP and Head of Operations at the Ola Futurefactory and will be responsible for efficient operations and instilling best practices in safety, quality and productivity that will help scale up the Futurefactory into the world’s largest and most advanced two-wheeler factory built on Industry 4.0 principles. Ramesh brings with him over three decades of experience in the areas of production, quality, design & development, having previously worked at Toyota, Maruti Suzuki, Lucas TVS and TATA Hitachi.

Priteesh Mahajan has joined as the Head of Two-wheeler Product Planning and Program Management at Ola Electric and will be responsible for overseeing the engineering program management for the company’s two-wheeler programme which includes both the current line-up, as well as future products. With a rich experience of over two decades, Priteesh has joined us from ABB where he managed global and local businesses as the Head of the Global Instrumentation business.

Shadowfax Technologies appoints Nitesh Lohiya as the Chief Product Officer

Shadowfax Technologies, India’s leading crowdsourced platform for last-mile deliveries, today announced the appointment of Nitesh Lohiya as the Chief Product Officer. The addition to the team would help lead the company’s overall product strategy and build scalable, sustainable, and technology-driven products.

Gray Matters Capital moves Headquarters to India, appoints Smita Sircar as President and CEO

Gray Matters Capital (GMC), an impact investment firm founded in Atlanta that has invested $275m in microfinance and education ventures globally, has announced the appointment of Smita Sircar as its President & CEO under the mission of “Finding Purpose with 100 Million Women. Under her leadership GMC is moving headquarters from the US to NCR-Delhi to get closer to its customers in emerging markets.
