Led by start-ups, 25% more firms line up to hire at IIT-Bombay
Mumbai: IIT-Bombay students may have good tidings this year with an overwhelming response from companies looking at hiring. Over 400 companies have already registered this year with the institute's placement cell, about 25% increase from last year.While every sector has seen a growth in number of companies showing interest in graduates from the premier Powai institute, startups and e-commerce firms have witnessed the largest growth, with 2530% more companies visiting the campus, in comparison to last year.
