Companies are looking to hike pay scales of employees by 10-12% this year. For key talent in the company, the hike can be as much as 30 per cent. The present economic conditions have raised the demand for talent and companies are looking to offer more top-up benefits to retain employees. Experts believe that we may expect a number of unconventional benefits from companies, such as cars, luxury watches, smartphones, iPods etc. as top-up benefits to retain employees.
