Gap in salaries of temporary, permanent workers narrowing

According to a comparative study done by TeamLease Services of annual salary primers released between 2008 and 2012 - the gap between the average salaries of temporary and permanent staffers has narrowed over the last 5 years, and is around 4%. The difference nearly 5 years ago was in excess of 8%, the company said in a press release. Among sectors, healthcare and pharma have shown the most impressive growth over the years as salaries grew by 7.96% in 2010, followed by 12.07 percent in 2011 and 18.87 percent in 2012, indicating a nearly 45 percent plus growth every year.
