No plans to increase entry-level salaries by TCS

India’s largest software firm TCS, said that it was under no pressure to increase its entry-level salaries, owing inflation. The company, however, is evaluating whether it will revise its salary structure for freshers. Ajoy Mukherjee, executive vice-president and global head (human resources), said the move will have to be carefully thought out because an increase in entry level salaries will have a cascading effect, increasing salaries across all employee levels.
