The largest bonus announced ever by any Indian company, TCS’s Rs. 2628 crores total bonus for its employees, is an attempt to contain attrition. The company stated some clarifications about its bonus payout. The payouts are not applicable for 11000 of its employees as well as any of its subsidiaries, such as CMC.  According to the company’s HR head, the bonus payouts are expected to have a positive impact on reducing attrition.
