Wellness - new weapon to improve productivity, performance

According to the Mercer Marsh Benefits survey, across the Asia Pacific region, employers are beginning to realize the fact that unhealthy employee behaviors are driving their health benefit costs while driving down productivity and performance. In fact, 59 percent of responding employers expect their health benefits expenses to rise in 2012; and there are commercial motives for investing in employee health. The survey states that some of the top drivers for promoting health & wellness in their organization include improvements in productivity and performance, attraction and retention of talent & promoting employee protection & well being.
