#MeToo Impact: Tata Group ends contract with Suhel Seth

Tata Group ends the contract with brand consultant Suhel Seth over the recent #MeToo allegations against him. Suhel Seth is a senior brand consultant who has worked with the Indian conglomerate for their management crisis within the group in 2016. 

In the last few days, many women have alleged the marketing consultant for sexually assaulted them in the past. Working women from different sectors such as film-making, journalism, and writers have accused him of molestation and misbehaving. 

According to a media report, Tata Group has said that the company is committed to promoting a safe workplace for women. We have noted the recent reports regarding Mr Seth in the media. We are looking into the issue and will decide on a further course of action in this regard.” 

The contract with Suhel Seth will end on November 30th. Currently, the marketing veteran is the Managing Partner of consultancy firm Counselage India which he founded in 2002. He has worked with advertising agencies such as Response, O&M and Equus.
