SEBI announces penalty for cos. without women directors
Listed companies may be penalised up to 25 crore rupees for their inability to appoint a woman director by April 1. The regulator may also take additional action against companies under Section 11B of the SEBI Act. SEBI had launched a warning campaign last week to caution companies who are yet to appoint a woman director.
