SHEROES, the growth network of women, recently acquired Bangalore- based ‘Women Restart’, an online career restart platform for an undisclosed amount.  Sheetal Arora, the Founder, and CEO of Women Restart has now joined SHEROES as Director, Research, and Resources. With this new role, her aim would be to strengthen its base in Bangalore and offer assistance to its community.

Sairee Chahal, founder SHEROES, commented upon this integration. She said, “SHEROES already lends holistic support and space, both professional and personal, to its community of women through products like ShebySHEROES, MARS, AskSHEROES and its online communities on the SHEROES App. The aim is to strengthen women in their personal and professional pursuits. This acquisition will integrate with those efforts. Women Restart has been a strong community on the SHEROES app ever since we launched and having them on board will bring deeper support via the platform.”

Women Restart was designed with a motive to help women make a career comeback. The platform assists women in developing an understanding of their own job readiness and familiarizing them with the latest trends and technologies used in the workplace. Also, it provides network opportunity by connecting them with other professionals.

Sheetal Arora Founder of Women Restart shares her thoughts on this union. She says, “SHEROES has been building a community of women from across the country, helping them find mentorship, resources and a circle of support. It has done some stellar work by building and leading this category. This integration will allow us to leverage their vast network and reach out to a broader section of women seeking growth. We look forward to working under the SHEROES aegis and make a bigger impact.”

Sheroes was incorporated by Sairee Chahal in January 2014; the platform was created to provide career eco-system to women and help them navigate their professional roadmaps.
