According to a survey by global workforce solutions provider Kelly Services, 30 per cent of Indian employees are frequently thinking about quitting and 60 per cent are planning to look for a new job with another employer within a year. The survey points out that employee have experienced a great deal of economic uncertainty and as a result, are restless regarding future career goals. Interestingly, despite the signs of job restlessness, 68 per cent of Indian respondents say they are happy in their jobs, one of the highest scores across the 30 countries. The report further noted that more than half (57 per cent) use social media networks when making career or employment decisions.
The findings are part of the survey results from the latest Kelly Global Workforce Index, an annual survey by Kelly Services. Around 1,70,000 people in 30 countries participated in the survey, including 6,500 in India.
