The Haryana District Court has granted bail to 77 of the 147 Maruti Suzuki workers who were arrested in 2012 for the unrest in the plant. The prosecution was unable to produce a witness against these 77. The union at Maruti has stated that it will ask the company’s management to take these people back to their jobs.
