Bank of India staff plans two-day strike
The All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) will observe a two-day strike beginning March 28 across all branches of the Bank of India. The strike was called after the bank management and the unions failed to come to a consensus on a variety of issues such as adequate recruitment, health check-up of employees, reimbursement of petrol expenses of workmen like officers and outsourcing of staff. AIBEA had deferred the strike from February 24, following a “positive assurance” from the management.
