Bombay HC directs Bajaj Auto workers back to Industrial Tribunal

The Bombay High Court on Friday has re-directed the writ petition filed by Bajaj Auto back to Industrial Tribunal, Pune. Bajaj Auto Limited had filed a Writ Petition before the High Court challenging the order of the Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Pune. In that order, the Labour Department referred new demands of the union to the Industrial Tribunal, Pune. According to Bajaj Auto, the settlement dated 21 May 2010 is still effective and valid till 31 March 2019.
