The Madras High Court has provided a restraining order against the sacking of a woman employee at TCS. It has provided an impetus to the Forum for IT Employees (FITE) which is a body to protect the interests of employees in the IT Industry. The employee claims that she was wrongly branded as an underperformer and asked to leave the company.
