A recent survey conducted by Team Lease, a major staffing company in India shows that the employees in Pune rank highest when it comes to pressure due to workload. The 7th survey by the company based on the theme ‘Stress at Workplace’ conducted on employees aged between 30 to 45 years in 8 major cities of India found that 74 percent of the employees surveyed in Pune feel they are over burdened with work. The respondents to this survey belonged to employees across industries and profiles including sales and marketing, business development, operations finance and even HR. Interestingly, escaping the workload by shifting to some other job was least favored by those who responded while realization and correction of one’s own fault was viewed as a viable solution by many.
