Google world's best multinational company to work for: Survey

Internet giant Google has been ranked as the world's best multinational company to work for by 'Great Place to Work Institute', Economic Times reported. Google is followed by software developer SAS Institute and network storage provider NetApp in the second and third place, respectively. Software giant Microsoft was ranked fourth.

Internet giant Google has been ranked as the world's best multinational company to work for by 'Great Place to Work Institute', Economic Times reported. Google is followed by software developer SAS Institute and network storage provider NetApp in the second and third place, respectively. Software giant Microsoft was ranked fourth.

The human resources consultancy has compiled a list of 25 such companies. There is no India-based company in this list and all 25 firms are either American or European.

According to the report, these companies were selected from more than 1,000 corporations. These companies have at least 5,000 employees worldwide.

Others companies in the top 10 include W L Gore & Associates, which was ranked 5th on the list, followed by personal and household goods maker Kimberly-Clark (6th), hospitality giant Marriott (7th), consumer goods firm Diageo (8th), National Instruments (9th) and IT company Cisco (10th).
