Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath said that the state has received private investments worth Rs 1.5 lakh crore, which generated 28 lakh jobs.
The Chief Minister shared this development while speaking at the second groundbreaking ceremony for industrial projects worth Rs 65,000 crore. The additional investment of Rs 65,000 crore will create another three lakh job opportunities, added the Chief Minister.
He said following the Investors Summit-2018, the state received Rs. 62,000 crore investments in just five months. "Overall the state has received Rs 1.5 lakh crore investments leading to 28 lakh employments," he said.
Apart from the private investment of Rs 1.5 lakh crore, the Chief Minister also highlighted that the government has received another figure of public investment worth Rs 1.25 crore and said he is committed to making Uttar Pradesh a one-trillion dollar economy.
According to the CM, the state government has also implemented 16 new policies. Some of the plans would further enhance the ease of doing business for the industries, are in the pipeline.
