47% of Indian Chief Executive Officers go social: Study

A recent study by KRC Research and Weber Shandwick has found that nearly half of company CEOs in India is on the social media, Hindustan Times reported. And the share is expected to grow.

If you thought that updating Facebook status or putting out short messages on micro-blogging site Twitter is the preserve of the young and the not-so-serious, think again. A recent study by KRC Research and Weber Shandwick has found that nearly half of company CEOs in India is on the social media, Hindustan Times reported. And the share is expected to grow.

According to the study ‘The Social CEO: Executives Tell All’ found that close to 47% of Indian CEOs are active on social media. This is expected to touch 60% by 2018.
