Chetna Vijay Sinha wins Schwab Foundation award
Chetna Vijay Sinha, Director, Mann Deshi Mahila Bank and Mann Deshi Foundation, on Monday bagged the 2013 India Social Entrepreneur of the Year award by The Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, a sister organisation of the World Economic Forum, in partnership with Jubilant Bhartia Foundation. Mann Deshi Mahila Bank and Mann Deshi Foundation, headquartered in Mhaswad, Maharashtra, aim to create one million rural women entrepreneurs in India by 2020, said a Schwab Foundation release.
