With over 29 years of experience in the banking industry, Srinivasan Balachander has been newly appointed as the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) of Fullerton India.

Fullerton India has announced the appointment of Srinivasan Balachander as their Chief Compliance Officer. He will be reporting to Shantanu Mitra, CEO & MD.

Speaking on the appointment of Balachander, Mitra says, “We are glad to welcome Balachander to the Fullerton India family. Having worked with top financial institutions in the country, we are certain that he will further strengthen the company's compliance framework. Balachander’s knowledge of the lending sector and the current economy will serve as a key asset in our journey as we continue to comply with the guidelines set by the regulatory authorities.”

Balachander brings with him over 29 years of work experience in the Banking sector having worked with leading financial institutions such as Axis Bank, Global Trust Bank and Vysya Bank. Prior to this, he worked at Bandhan Bank where he led the compliance function as their Chief Compliance Officer.

My endeavour would be to ensure adherence to all internal protocols and cultivate a collaborative and meaningful relationship with key policy-makers and regulatory authorities.
