HDFC Pension names Hetal Javeri-Nandu as CHRO to lead people strategy

HDFC Pension Management Company Limited has appointed Hetal Javeri-Nandu as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to focus on long-term organisational growth and workforce development.

Based in Mumbai, Javeri-Nandu will lead the company's people strategy, with responsibility for talent development, employee engagement, leadership capability and organisational culture.

New role centres on people and leadership

In her new position, Javeri-Nandu will oversee key human resources priorities designed to support HDFC Pension's long-term business objectives. Her responsibilities include:

Brings experience from HDFC Life

Before joining HDFC Pension, Javeri-Nandu served as Vice President, Human Resources at HDFC Life.

During her nearly three-year tenure, she partnered with the HDFC Bank relationship business and led a team of HR Business Partners. Her work focused on aligning human resources strategy with business priorities while strengthening talent management across the organisation.

Her experience spans HR business partnering, organisational development and strategic workforce planning within the financial services sector.

More than a decade in insurance HR leadership

Prior to HDFC Life, Javeri-Nandu spent more than ten years at SBI General Insurance, where she held several senior HR leadership positions across both corporate and business HR functions.

Javeri-Nandu holds a Master of Management Studies (MMS) in Human Resources from K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management and Research.

She also earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from HR College, affiliated with Mumbai University.
