Bengalore: Online real estate portal Housing.com said it is going to focus on its home buying and selling business and will scale down all other verticals including listings and rentals. 

Jason Kothari, the CEO of Housing.com said: "At a time in the economy where capital is limited, we are hard pressed but need to allocate 100% of our resources and mindshare on winning the Buy-Sell market. In addition, we need to be much more efficient with our resources." The company said it expect to reduce its workforce but did not specify the number of people it plans to layoff. In this latest round of restructuring, the company is scaling down PG, hostels and rental agreements businesses.
