InMobi APAC revenue head Gaurav Jain resigns after one year

The senior executive exits as InMobi continues expanding its AI-led advertising and consumer technology business across Asia-Pacific.
Gaurav Jain, Senior Vice President and Head of APAC Revenue at InMobi, has resigned from the mobile advertising and AI technology company after serving in the role for about a year.
His departure comes as InMobi continues to strengthen its artificial intelligence-led advertising and consumer technology offerings, particularly through Glance AI.
The company has not disclosed Jain's next role. It said his successor has already been appointed and is expected to join shortly.
Led revenue across key Asia-Pacific markets
Jain joined InMobi in July 2025 to oversee revenue operations across the Asia-Pacific region.
His responsibilities included driving monetisation for:
- InMobi Exchange
- InMobi DSP
- Glance AI
His remit spanned multiple markets, including:
- India
- Japan
- South Korea
- Southeast Asia
- Australia
- New Zealand
During his tenure, he led the company's revenue strategy across one of its most significant regional businesses as InMobi accelerated investments in AI-powered advertising and consumer experiences.
Brings more than two decades of digital advertising experience
Before joining InMobi, Jain served as Chief Business Officer at ShareChat and Moj between October 2022 and July 2025.
In the role, he led the company's monetisation business across several functions, including:
- Sales
- Partnerships
- Marketing
- Brand solutions
- Pricing
- Strategy
- Customer success
Earlier, he spent nearly a year at Snap Inc. as Head of APAC Business Expansion, where he led Snapchat's monetisation strategy across India and emerging Asia-Pacific markets, including Southeast Asia, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
According to his professional profile, he also established Snap's direct sales operations in the region while managing relationships with advertisers, agencies and ecosystem partners.
Held leadership roles at Meta and Google
Jain was among the founding members of Meta India's mid-market business.
Between 2018 and 2021, he served as Head of Mid Market Business, leading revenue strategy, market sizing, resource planning and go-to-market execution for the segment.
Before Meta, he spent close to five years at Google, holding leadership positions across India and Asia-Pacific.
His responsibilities included:
- Leading regional agency partnerships across Asia-Pacific as Regional Agency Lead
- Managing revenue development across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia and India
- Serving as India Agency Lead, where he led Google's long-tail agency business
Early career and academic background
Before moving into digital advertising and technology, Jain worked at Citibank India as Product Manager for Channel Sales.
He also worked at Jaypee Capital Services, where he was part of the core team involved in launching the United Stock Exchange (USE).
Jain holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi.
As InMobi continues to expand its AI-led advertising and consumer technology portfolio, the company is preparing for a leadership transition in its Asia-Pacific revenue organisation, with a new executive already identified to succeed Jain.
