P&G Health HR head Anit Singh to exit, Sanika Gokhale named successor

P&G Health names Sanika Gokhale as successor after Singh moves to Japan-based regional role.
Procter & Gamble Health said its Human Resource Leader, Anit Singh, will step down on 30 September 2025, as he prepares to take on a regional role in Tokyo. Singh has been appointed Director of Human Resources, SK-II Japan and Tokyo, the company confirmed.
His departure brings to a close a period in which he helped steer HR strategy at P&G Health through the challenges of India’s fast-changing consumer health market. Although the company has not detailed his specific achievements, industry sources noted that Singh is regarded internally for advancing workforce transformation and embedding people-first practices across the business.
From 1 October 2025, Sanika Gokhale will assume the role of Human Resource Leader, Business Standard reported. Gokhale has spent seven years with the P&G group, rising through roles in HR operations, category business partnering and talent practice leadership. Most recently, she led India Talent Practice and Equality & Inclusion for the region.
Singh’s shift to Japan reflects P&G’s established approach of rotating senior leaders across markets to build global capability. Analysts said the move also underscores the strategic weight of SK-II, the company’s luxury skincare brand, in driving growth across Asia.
With Gokhale stepping in, P&G Health will focus on ensuring continuity while advancing employee development, retention and diversity priorities. The company has not outlined transition specifics, but both executives are expected to coordinate closely ahead of the leadership change.
