Veteran banker Pramod Marar takes charge as Satin Finserv CEO

Veteran banker and sustainability entrepreneur Pramod Marar takes charge of Satin Finserv, signalling a decisive pivot to India’s green lending future.
Satin Finserv, the non-banking financial arm of Satin Creditcare Network Ltd (SCNL), has appointed Pramod Marar as Chief Executive Officer, a move aimed at cementing its credentials in India’s rapidly expanding green finance market.
Marar brings nearly three decades of professional experience spanning blue-chip banking, fintech start-ups and sustainability-driven ventures.
He began his career with HDFC Bank and Axis Bank before spending 18 years at HSBC India, where he held senior positions across corporate banking, SME and microfinance. In his last role at HSBC, he served as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for Wholesale Banking in India, according to Business Standard.
Beyond traditional banking, Marar has built a notable entrepreneurial profile. He co-founded TapFin, led GoGreen Capital as MD & CEO, and co-founded MoEVing Fintech, a platform focused on financing clean mobility.
Each role has underscored his emphasis on sustainability-linked finance and innovative credit models that connect capital markets with green outcomes.
The transition also reflects a period of churn at the top. Satin Creditcare filings with stock exchanges earlier this year confirmed that Bhuvnesh Khanna resigned as CEO of Satin Finserv on 16 January 2025, and that Dhiraj Jha briefly assumed the position from 17 January 2025.
Marar’s elevation is therefore both a continuity of leadership and a repositioning exercise with sustainability at its core.
