Infosys introduces a 3-phase hybrid plan for work-from-office
While many companies are forcing their employees back into the office, Infosys has introduced a flexible work model to its employees. In an internal communication, Krish Shankar, HR head at Infosys announced a three-phase work-from-office plan.
What is Infosys 3-phase hybrid plan?
As per Infosys' new work model, employees will work in three different ways. In the first phase, employees can come to the office twice a week based on their convenience. In the next one, they can choose to take a transfer or relocate to a branch office of their choice. Whereas, in the final phase, the company will use the feedback from both phases to determine its hybrid-work policy.
Krish Shankar said in an email to its workforce that the company’s objective is to “not have one-size-fits-all approaches” and allow flexibility in the adoption of a hybrid workspace.
“It will be exciting to see how our teams will explore their own return to office plans by creatively and pragmatically blending project and business imperatives along with collective working convenience,” said Shankar, according to TOI.
In the last quarter, Infosys recorded an attrition rate of 27.1 per cent.
