In a shift from its largely campus-based talent acquisition strategy, The Boston Consulting Group is stepping up lateral hiring this year. For every two persons picked up from campuses, one will be hired laterally. Despite being one of the largest recruiters at India's top institutes, BCG is not able to meet demand. "In line with our growth, BCG had to increase recruitment plans by 40% this year," said Prateek Roongta, principal.
