Paladion Networks to hire 300 people this year
Paladion Networks a cyber-security firm plans to hire about 300 people this year owing to its escalating on-demand and cyberactive services as reported by ET.
Out of the 300, about 20% would be specialist in data analysis as customers are moving to a predictive security model creating the need of specialist talent, said Sunil Gupta, Chief Operating Officer. He also anticipated a growth of about 20-30% of the customers to shift to the predictive model in the next 12-18 months expecting a change in the hiring patterns. Gupta was earlier COO, Infosys’s EdgeVerve and has been appointed by Paladion Networks to look after the business strategies and outcomes in MEA and India and to direct all business units and delivery.
Paladion Networks Pvt. Ltd. provides professional and managed security services with six security operations centre across the globe. “This is a cloud based offering that takes into consideration the cost concerns that SMEs have. It has a long tail but takes time, right now we have several clients and are also doing a lot of trials,” said Gupta. The company currently employs over 900 people and has eyes to hire in the US as it scale-up its presence in the country with a focus to cover the lucrative North American market.
With a rise in the revenue to $1.6 mn in the last four months, the company is drifting its focal point in creating a global delivery model that can work both on shore and offshore, and moving from being a people centric to a value centric business.
