Tech based global talent search firm, Catenon, has announced its expansion to the city of Bengaluru, further strengthening its presence in South India. To lead its expansion in south India, it has appointed Lakshmi Sridhar to lead the region. As the Vice President, she will be responsible for overseeing the Bengaluru market while managing operations for the same.

“Lakshmi is a great leader and is going to take Catenon to the next level. Her experience in technology and executive search combined with her knack for understanding both headhunting and industry needs equally make her an extraordinary fit for us. I am confident that with her experience and appreciation of industry, Catenon will be able to establish deep partnerships with clients and continue delivering best-in-class service. I am delighted to have her on board, and she is also a great cultural fit for the organization”, said Gaurav Chattur, Managing Director, Catenon Asia Pacific.

Lakshmi has a long track record of over 20 years of experience across Executive Search and Corporate, and comes with deep expertise in the Technology, Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defence, Energy, Infrastructure and Engineering sectors. Prior to joining Catenon, Lakshmi was leading the Lead Talent Hiring for Microland. Leveraging this experience, Lakshmi will steer Catenon through its next phase of growth, as it continues its mission to be the best search firm to work with, and empower organizations with strategic talent inputs.

Founded in 2000 in Spain, the search firm began its APAC operations with its first office in Pune India in 2010, and now has over four offices across the APAC region including Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune and Singapore. Given the current economic situation, among the overall trends, hiring is at an all-time low. However, the handful of companies still hiring are mostly using virtual hiring tools or tech-based solutions. To be able to lead a successful expansion in these challenging times Catenon has to be patient and continuously adapt to the changing market needs.
