The Apparel, Made-ups and Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council (AMHSSC) will train 20 lakh people by 2022 under the skill development programme, its Chairman A Sakthivel said today. Under the scheme, fresh trainees would get a cash reward of Rs 6,000 to Rs 12,000 each depending upon the skill levels for training and certification.
