CII plans SME training center
CII is planning to set up a training center for entrepreneurs in the micro, small, and medium manufacturing sectors in Kolkata. The training programs would focus on basics in manufacturing required at the shop floor. CII had earlier made efforts to provide such training in Jharkhand and the tea processing units in Assam. The target of such efforts of the CII is to make SMEs prepared to take on the hyper competitive market.
