IIT-M has set up an incubator for biotech startups to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the field. The incubator has been set up with the support of Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council. The incubator will offer lab and office space, in addition to equipment and centralised utilities for process and product development.
