The government has set a target of skilling 40.2 crore people by 2022, under the new National Policy for Skill Development, slated to be unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 15. Modi will also launch the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana on the same day, at a mega event to mark the World Youth Skills Day here.
