As companies-both start-up and otherwise - step up their hiring, a new buzzword is doing the rounds in HR circles: passive recruitment. With the rise of social media platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook, companies are increasingly looking to source talent from online platforms where subscribers log in to explore opportunities and network. Passive talent - or talent that's not necessarily actively looking for a job - accounts for a whopping 75 per cent of all professionals worldwide.
