ArcelorMittal to create 700 jobs in France this year

Buoyed by signs of revival of the European steel market, ArcelorMittal today announced creation of 700 new jobs in France this year taking its total workforce to nearly 21,000. “These new, permanent jobs cover a wide range of roles and activities within the company, and are in addition to the 600 staff that ArcelorMittal recruited in France in 2013, most notably at its Dunkirk, Mardyck, Montataire and Desvres sites in northern France,” the world's largest steel maker said in a statement. ArcelorMittal has some 50 industrial and distribution sites in France and also houses its largest global Research and Development centre.
