Government clears compassionate appointments

According to a statement released by the Government, there is no ban on compassionate appointments responding to questions on whether there was a ban on compassionate appointments. The statement was released by Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions, V Narayanaswamy. The scheme of appointments of a dependant family member of a government servant who has died during the tenure is still in force.
