Govt asks for probe into retired miners joining private companies
A Parliamentary panel has asked the government to conduct an inquiry into the matter of some officers of the Coal Ministry and PSUs, who were directly of indirectly connected with mines allotment, joining private sector after retirement in violation of norms. The Standing Committee on Coal and Steel also wanted the Ministry of Coal to immediately conduct an inquiry into the matter.
