Huge pay gaps between men and women in Indian IT

According to Catalyst India WRC’s research, significant pay gaps exist between men and women in Indian IT. The research also indicates that the phenomenon of pay gaps exist across all sectors in the Indian industry. In the tech sector in India, women and men start with equal pay and responsibility but gender gaps emerge over time. Women lag behind men to the tune of Rs. 3.8 lakhs approximately by the time they are 12 years into their careers.
