Life coaches are becoming a rage in India as experts claim that the life coaching business in India is expected to cross Rs 1,000 crore mark in FY15, growing exponentially from Rs 200 crore just a few years back. “With the increasing demand from corporate sector, along with individuals, the life coaching business in India is expected to cross Rs 1,000 crore mark in FY15, growing exponentially from Rs 200 crore in FY 08,” Antano Solar John, founder of Chennai-based School of Excellence (SOE), said. The SOE, which is a part of the NLP Bliss (Neuro Linguistic Programming) initiative, is planning to open 200 life coaching centres based on franchise model and invest Rs 10 crore in the next 2-3 years, John added.
