Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella on Monday asked thousands of professionals working in India to chip in to help the software giant emerge as a company that empowers individuals and organisations. He spent couple of hours at Microsoft India Development Centre (MSIDC), the global giant's biggest R&D centre outside its Redmond, US headquarters. Hyderabad-born Nadella's maiden visit to the city since he became CEO, spanning 24 hours or so, was kept under wraps by both Microsoft India and government authorities. During the wee hours of September 29, Nadella addressed employees spread across nine cities in India through webcasting.
