New whistleblowing legislation

According to the Companies Act 2013, it has become mandatory for listed companies to establish a vigilance mechanism to report genuine concerns of integrity. The draft sets up provision for the mechanism, reclusion, access, appropriateness, and action of the vigil mechanism. The act also provides for some safeguards to protect whistleblowers.
