With the emergence of the $300 billion e-commerce retail industry, women entrepreneurs are gaining significantly. There has been an increasing incidence of women entrepreneurs going the online route to sell products across several categories, such as health care, home furnishing, jewellery, handicrafts, and fashion apparel. These women constitute 20% of the 1 million odd sellers in India.
