Aegis to hire 1,000 people in Sri Lanka

BPO major Aegis today inaugurated a new centre in Colombo, Sri Lanka, which will provide employment to 1,000 people in the next one year. The centre, which has an initial capacity of 600 seats, will be expanded to 1,000 direct white collared jobs over the next one year. Additionally, the centre will generate two to three times higher indirect employment, the company said in a statement.
