D Sen takes over as Director-BD of IOC

D Sen has taken over as Director- Planning and Business Development of the nation's largest oil company, Indian Oil Corp (IOC). Prior to this, Sen was Executive Director in-charge of Lubes at IOC's marketing division headquarters, the company said in a statement here. Sen is also the Chairman of IOC Middle East, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IOC involved in lubes business in the Middle East. "During his tenure as ED (Lubes), Sen led the lubes vertical to scale new heights in marketing of SERVO lubricants by achieving an all-time high market share both in industrial as well as automotive segments amidst fierce competition from global majors," the statement said. Besides repositioning the SERVO brand through launching of synthetic range of SERVO Automotive lubricants, he is also credited with expanding the reach of SERVO lubricants in rural areas by setting up 'Grameen Servo Stockist', a first-of-its-kind in the industry.
