Debasis Sanyal, the Group General Manager, assumed charge as the manager of ONGC’s Rajahmundry asset on Sunday, according to a press release. Earlier, Sanyal was handling corporate cementing for offshore and onshore operations from Mumbai. He has rich experience in onshore and offshore operations. In Mumbai offshore, he managed thirty-five rigs productively. Further, he has undertaken and managed design, engineering and refurbishments during dry docking offshore rigs and induction of modular drilling rigs. He has also worked extensively in Assam and Ahmedabad, adds the release. He holds B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering from ISM Dhanbad. He has completed management and leadership training programmes at IIM, Lucknow and ISB, Hyderabad.
