Dell hires Thrikutam the day he quits Infosys

Infosys senior executive was taken on board by Dell on the day he announced his decision of ending his near two decade engagement with the Bangalore-based software company, a trend which underlines how information technology companies are gaining on Infosys’ inability to retain talent. Prasad Thrikutam, formerly executive council member of Infosys, was made president and global Head of Application Services at Dell, said a company statement released on Thursday. Prasad, who before quitting Infosys reported to BG Srinivas, one of the two presidents who also quit the company exactly a week before, was heading the global sales, marketing and alliances at Infosys.
