Disabled struggle to find jobs

Indian companies still struggle to hire people with disabilities, oftentimes confusing disability with ineffectiveness. Reservations for hiring disabled people exist only in the public sector and in the private sector hiring persons with disability is mostly a part of CSR. Although companies are opening up to the prospect of hiring people with disabilities, the demand supply gap is still large. Economies, such as Japan, penalises companies who fail to hire persons with disabilitis.
